VISION AND PURPOSE

To empower entrepreneurs and business leaders with the tools, guidance, and strategies they need to build transformative ventures. By delivering hands-on support and proven methodologies, we aim to foster thriving businesses at every stage of their journey, from inception to growth.

Women & Minority-Owned

GuidedVenture is a women- and minority-owned business. Our team reflects the diversity we champion in our work, with leadership spanning multiple geographies, languages, and lived experiences.

SOCIAL COMMITMENTS (IN-DEPTH)

At GuidedVenture, corporate responsibility is more than a policy—it’s embedded in our mission, our ownership, and the way we design and deliver every program. Our approach reflects our commitment to inclusive entrepreneurship, equitable access, and sustainable business practices.

1. Minority- and Women-Owned Business

GuidedVenture is a women- and minority-owned business. Our team reflects the diversity we champion in our work, with leadership spanning multiple geographies, languages, and lived experiences.

2. Equal Opportunity & Inclusion

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and supplier network. Our hiring and partner selection practices are grounded in principles of fairness, accessibility, and non-discrimination. We proactively seek to collaborate with underrepresented founders, educators, and advisors—many of whom will serve as mentors and experts in this programme.

Our internal DEI commitments include:

  • Equal pay for equal work across all identities

  • A flexible, remote-first team culture that supports caregivers and people with disabilities

  • Inclusive hiring practices and bias-aware screening processes

  • Tri-lingual delivery across English, French, and Spanish

A formal Equal Opportunity & DEI Policy has been drafted and is included as an appendix to this submission.

3. Environmental Responsibility

While we are a lean, service-based business with a minimal physical footprint, we actively minimize our environmental impact by:

  • Operating as a remote-first team to reduce travel emissions

  • Using cloud-based, paperless tools for all documentation and collaboration

  • Sourcing from sustainable vendors where possible (e.g., digital printing, packaging, swag)

A formal Environmental Responsibility Policy is also included in the appendix and may be tailored to meet IOC supplier expectations.

4. Third-Party Commitments & Accreditations

We are proud participants of Pledge 1%, a global movement that encourages early-stage companies to give back by pledging equity, profit, time, or product to social impact causes. GuidedVenture has formally committed to donating no less than 1% of our profits and 1% of our time to nonprofit organizations that promote entrepreneurship—particularly within underserved communities, including teenagers, high school and college students, and underrepresented founders such as athletes with disabilities and women of color.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

GuidedVenture is a purpose-driven organization founded on principles of equity, sustainability, and impact. Our team operates globally with official hubs in the United States and Spain and is proudly minority- and women-owned.

Commitment to Equity, Access, and Opportunity

We believe that entrepreneurship should be accessible to all—regardless of geography, background, or lived experience. Our team reflects this ethos, with leadership and program delivery personnel representing diverse cultures, languages, and life journeys. We are especially focused on ensuring inclusive representation across:

  • Gender and racial identity

  • Language and geography

  • Olympians and Paralympians

  • Different stages of education and career readiness

We uphold an equal opportunity policy that governs all hiring, vendor engagement, and client services. While we are not a certified B-Corp, our practices are aligned with global DEI and social impact standards.

Sustainability and Community Impact

As a remote-first company, we operate with a low environmental footprint. All materials, sessions, and interactions are digital by default. When travel is required, we consolidate trips and prioritize minimal-impact itineraries. We actively seek opportunities to partner with locally-based facilitators and reduce unnecessary logistics-related emissions.

We’ve joined the global Pledge 1% movement, formally committing to donate no less than 1% of both our profits and our time to nonprofit organizations that promote entrepreneurship—especially among underserved communities, teenagers, and high school or college students. We aim to expand this initiative through athlete-facing microgrants, community-based collaborations, and pro bono alumni coaching.

Accreditations and Policies

  • Pledge 1% member

  • Minority and Women-Owned Business (self-identified; available for official certification if required)

  • Promoting fair wages and reasonable working hours

  • Encouraging continuous learning, advancement, and well-being

Accessibility

We design programs, content, and digital tools to be inclusive and accessible across a wide range of abilities, time zones, languages (English, French, Spanish), and lived experiences.

We are especially attuned to the needs of:

  • Para-athletes and individuals with disabilities

  • First-time entrepreneurs

  • Athletes transitioning from career-defining moments

Implementation & Accountability

  • We conduct internal reviews of our practices on an annual basis.

  • We require all vendors and subcontractors to comply with equivalent policies.

  • We welcome feedback from clients, partners, and participants to ensure our practices reflect our values.

Questions or concerns about this policy may be submitted to: support.team@guidedventure.com
